I (like alot of people in this league) put alot of effort into sorting match dates (8 this month), making sure that I can get enough players for each match. We have had player problems in the past but now luckily have a healthy number of keen good players (and me). I expect my oposition to have made the same effort. If a clan has problems and lets me know a reasonable time before the match (a day really) then I would have no problems rearranging or changing numbers (not to 3v3 though...). I have 3 kids, a very busy job, a bit of voluntary work on the side, so making sure I'm available for a match is hard work, and rescheduling can be v difficult.

So when a clan turns up with only 3 players should we on the spot agree to 3v3? I really believe in fairness but my answer is no. Why should I have to tell players they can't play because the other clan can't get enough players? (if I have left work early and given up my family time I would not be happy...)

This has happened to us twice in the last 3 months and both times it has turned into a flame war. I won't go into the last one...

Tonight we had 10 players turn up to play, 4 were told they had to reserve, then the other team turn up with just 3 players (without warning). So what do you do? tell 3 more players, thx for giving up your time but don't play because the other team have just 3 players? or do you even out?

I see part of having a clan as trying to make sure that you have enough players to play a war you have booked. We had a LOT of trouble the past two months with it being the summer holidays, so many of our players were away. We turned up to at least 3 of the past 8 with 5 players and I would not have the cheek to ask the other team to drop to 5 just because I couldnt organise 6 players. As it happened on all 3 occasision, someone else arrived within the first 2 maps (*phew*!). But, we didnt ask a merc, we didnt ask the other team to drop numbers, we played with what we had. I expect the other team to do the same for us.
We have rescheduled because the other team couldnt get enough players for that date, no problem there. But we have had abuse recently for example for playing against a clan where they had 4 for the first 2 maps. What are we to do then? Drop to 4 ourselves? Then as they get other players in would they sit like zombies till we went and found someone we had told "sorry, you cant play, oh, come back now though, stop what you are doing and play again"?
Part of a clan is being able to field a team. If you find its not fun playing 6 v 5 for example, fine, no problem, even the teams. But dont abuse the other clan because you have a problem.

ive seen div 1/2 players fragging the shit out of newbies on the public servers and swapping teams 2 be on same team just so they can 0wn them wheres the sportsmanship in that

ive played football when its been 11 v 9 with me on the 9 side 4 1\2 a season dont dont start that wingey whiney shit we just got on with it
