  • Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

Well PUG has just started & i think if you try to split the community in half depending on thier ping there won't be any PUG's.

I suggest you let things run for a week or two and see how the interest sparks or diminishes and then perhaps consider a second server depending on the demand.

Its not underpowered, at its busiest time it managed to just get over 50% resource usage. I would say though that due to it being a UK server that the routing is not going to suit everyone, just like DFP does not suit everybody.
 
For me it would be better route to dfp, but its more fun to play pug´s than at dfp atm so i rather play at Uk because of the fun factor and more orginazed wars!

aye agree, dfp>mcserver but makes more phun ^^
 
There arent that many differnt people playing the pug, theres enough for a decent game at most times of the day but more than 1 server atm may split the players enough that matches only have small teams and itll lose some of the fun.
DFP will always be better for germans than a UK server no surprises there but if anyone from nl or se etc has problems they could tracert it and pm it to me and Ill see if theres anything that can be done about it.
 
Even i played a few games yesterday and it was pretty good :)

System is good and the games are close and the server was fine for me, tho i did get the occasional spike, its barely noticable.

About DFP, well im from the UK so obv id rather use Mc's server rather than a german one that gives me 2-3% pl :P

I know the server has your brothers name on it and all mate, and loyalty is all well and good... but somehow I am not convinced
 
lol snee, the pugs were great. Great laughs on TS with all that pld!! Most of the time was, me, twnz, imp, snee, cos, zyx, loco ,ase ?? anymore? Was great fun tho lads!

Few things;

People that sign to PUG are expected to SHOW and play. If for any reason you need to go, find a replacement on the PUG channel out of respect to your team and opponents.

People who leave mid game for reasons such as "This map sucks" or other lame excuses will be banned from PUG for 2 days and perhaps further for repeating to cause problems.

Show some respect to the people you play with and act civilised, this is after all not a league match and you have the CHOICE not to play.

hmm some whines on dfp some on mc´s and some on gothica, much servers left...
Its not an importent war, just play and have fun.
 
those pugs are much fun...lol...the server is a bit laggy time to time..but it's just for fun so it does not really matter much...nice1 :)
