if i get a new map......1 of the 1. things is, that i load it in ED.....

i use the climber just 4 fun.....and u can use it as weapon 2....u can telefrag:D

i stoped with this thread, cause i saw no chance to have any constructive discussion about bringing some new maps into league :rolleyes:

to big
to spamy
to small
to dark
to hard
to boring

bla bla bla....only moaning, and no thinking about what we could do with that "map-material"

weapon/ammo updates
trigger fixes ( minor changes can change the whole gmeplay )
a bit architecture stuff (alt attack routes)
textures
eyecandy´s 4 jwer :P

a lil bit here, and lil bit there....some playtesting---fixing------testing-----voting

making a new map costs much time, and nobody knows how long this league will be running

the idea is "re-cycling" maps
(what a few peeps already do in the background)

nice looking maps with heavy gameplay probs could be fixed......
then we have some new maps--->would bring new fresh wind to this dusty league :)

(hopefully , we have in 2-3 weeks a lil playtest with 3-4 re-cycled classic maps)
 
No kidding we need new maps.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing GuardiaAL GO cuz it sux.

AS-Deception (dunno how this hasn't already been in the League for years, excellent map)
AS-Escape (may as well, you have all other of Grz's maps :p: but not sure if it's aesthetically pleasing enough; I mean, I thinka League map should not only be playable but beautiful)
AS-EventHorizon][ (very ok map; if other ppl want it in fine, I don't care either way TBH)
AS-GrandCanyon (prolly want the ML2 version but you'd have to try both; long but an awesome map and can breathe some life into this League)

AS-iSEAL (prolly want the ][ version, edited by Starkhide; good map, if you know how to play it)
AS-OffWorldAssault (at least give a try, could be good if ppl weren't so lazy)

AS-Manticore (give it a try but probably too spammy)

AS-Bioassault (fricking yes put this in, ownage map, just spawn point issues; just go to the NAAT League to DL BioassaultLe anyway, fixes tons of issues and looks better)

As far as maps like Baseriot, Midnight, and a few others go, I don't know them so I'd have to go by other ppl's opinions until I do, but... I know Incinerate and it doesn't need any work at all, it's beautiful but it SUCKS. It seems more like a single-player mission from a game other than UT than an Assault map. :/ Put it another game would be great but not Assault.
