Phear (and the others), we all know that we have to do something against mercing. But in your situation it's not important enough at this moment, because of your time and stuff. But are you the only one who can do something about it? Are we so stupid that only Phear can do it? 
I see it this way, it's our problem so we have to do something about it together. Aren't there more guys than Phear who could finish the job that Phear started?

better implement some "if u wanna use mercs guidelines." I agree mercs should be used from the same or lower divisions.

Whats the point in having any guidelines/rules for mercing if there is no way to inforce them, it like saying you cant steal or shoot someone and then not having any police/courts.
As for someone to help work on such a system, within the AS community I don't beleive there is anyone else with the uscript knowledge (Eavy and SteelHORN were the only 2 I knew and they have now left AS), it also requires a server to log all the data sent from UT (that will run on linux preferably).

@ Phear: As things are now mercs are allowed and u can use any merc u want, recommendations that mercs should be used only from the same division or lower divisions and only used if a full team could not be gathered would prolly lead to mercs are used in that way. We could ie call ION (just remember that incident, could be any other clan except for BO since we are the good guys
) lamers for using a merc beacuse one of their members didnt have RW installed. IMO recommendations will very likely lead to an increased compliance to them. There is no use enforcing rules which cant be enforced as u metioned earlier but guidelines are different and it might make things better

You can read here that there are more people who want to stop mercing as the people who want to keep or even improve mercing. It's as simple as that. I want to compare it with a simple thing in real life. Ofcourse there are people on this planet that would like to rob a bank, but there are more people that dont want the other to do it, so that's why there's something like police. On every rule there are people who agree and people who disagree, that's just life. And you know that, cause what I'm saying is probably very childish. But this is a discussion, so try to let me and the others think that mercing is good.

and if you don't aim to be able to beat any other team, and imagine yourself to be playing for fun - then why care? I'm very fun to play against

But do u think that it's fun when you play against a clan, and it's an equal match, with a lot of exciting moments and everyone is trying hard, that it's only better if the other clan calls a few very good players, and that they dominate you and that you due to this incident lose the match with 8-0. There's no fun at all about that, it ruins whole the fun about this beautiful game...
