Why do the majority of you still use Internet Explorer?

Never really used Firefox but I did have Firebird installed on my pendrive while at uni so I could have my favs when I browsed, think it was only 6MB or summat. IS Firefox similar to Firebird or a never version or summat? CBA googling it...

Firebird was renamed to Firefox last year for legal reasons.
