On a less "me me me me me" variant of what Humph posted, I use Trillian to connect to IRC, is it just mIRC that has these exploits, or do I need to look at upgrading/replacing my IRC client?

Yeah, this one is a mIRC only exploit..
AFAIK it affects all versions below 6.12, so IF you are on mIRC you should really upgrade to lastest version, no matter what version you have..

And to the rest of you NOT using mIRC, thats good for you then, but you really dont have to tell us.
