Joko: Personally think u have too many shades of red. Do the menus have to have a gradient on them? Looks kind of silly if the menu backgrounds have gadients and the menu titles have a different gradient direction .... messy. I would just leave out the gradients all together .... ur choice though :D Nice banner.

You mean something like the mi5clan site? No offense to them, but wouldn't that be utterly boring? Dont get me wrong, i love the coding they did on their clanpage, but the whole layout lacks....how shall i put it....atmosphere. Its so....sterile, like a lunchroom with colorfull sandwidges layed out in a silver showcase with white tiles on the walls.
 
if you want to use scripting/database etc flash is useless (or you have to integrate flash with html)
i like html site more though, less buggy and most times a better overview
the only flash sites i like more than html are the ones with a vcool styling/layout, just check

I think mi5 site is one of the best ....

But i like simplistic no frilly type things, look cleaner and less messy.
 
OK i looked at it again and i figured out whats making it look daft.

Take a look at the gradient on the right menu .... its exactly the same as the one on the left. You should turn it the other way so that the red colour fades as u go to the edge of the webby on both sides, not just one side.

Give it a try anyway i wanna see what it looks like :D

//edit: If u want me to be really picky heres a list, but they are only small things ignore them if u want.. ..

+ The white title of the news items doesnt show up well against the silver background.

+ I dont know if u need the border around the banner. Looks wierd.

+ The space between the banner and the rest of the site is too big.

+ The top of the menus and the news isnt in line.

+ Again the menus ... you've got ]UAS[ written in silver, but u cant really read it clearly and is it actually needed? You definetly want something going down that inside edge, but i think the UAS looks a bit gh3y.

+ Finally right down at the bottom of the page you've put a big silver line type thing which you totally don't need at all. Make the copyright notice the bottom of the webby?

I'm having some dificulties melting the php code with my templates. For some reason the stylesheets from Vwar override my own stylesheeta, therefore fucking up my menu.

I tried everything from manually changing the font and hyperlink settings to diging into the template source of Vwar, but so far no luck. I could always make a menu made out of .gif's, but that would make the site only heavier, which i want to prevent.

Anyone who could help?
