Would be nice to have an option on scheduling page for rocketlaunch on/rocketlaunch off.
 
Rocketlaunch has always been in 2v2 so why remove it??
Antihammerlaunch is ok.

See no reason to remove RL launch.. it was making assault fun
otherwise we can play deck instead :satan:

Current/default settings for 2vs2 ladder:
  • rocket launches are enabled
  • hammer launches are disabled
  • ZeroPing disabled (optional/selectable)

On a side note. Put #uta2v2 in your mIRC perform list. This way it's easier to arange a quick friendly or a quick match. Match aranger's will be assigned with voice to be easily recognised. There is a 4 Teamslot Teamspeak there aswell if you have trouble getting one for a match.

Max players per channel is 2 so you won't have people listening in on your tactics.

I'd like to see an option for hammerlaunches on too, hammerlaunches are really a great form of teamplay as well!
 
Hammers in 2v2 makes some maps very hard to def, I dont want it. Rox OK though.

1st time i agree with smantie :)
some maps will be hard to def...but its still assault and to win u dont need only dm skill, u must use launches...

and play with hammerlaunches will more fun :D

Bridge: How difficult would this map be in 2v2 if hammer launches were allowed? There is/was a reason for rocket launches being allowed and hammer launches not.
 
thing with hamemr launches is in 2v2 it depends ony many maps on defence spawn. On bridge/Rook for example, when def spawns bad u cant get first run launchers :<
And when it comes down to luck it sux :(

more difficult will be when u cant hammerlaunch - u can only try rocketlaunch, but sniper kill u...u can try get 2nd base, but sniper can 1st kill u or later camper with belt and rockets/sniper

hammerlaunches give everybody another way to win

but rook is good example...not often but possible that attackers 1st set hammerlaunch...but its possible on stadas too...and we still can use hammerlaunches ;)

With the Cave launch on Bridge, and hammer launches an option then there needs to be 1 on the bridge all the time. It is ridiculously hard to defend hammer launches in this map because maps pretty much over if final goes. Rocket launches are also easier in 2v2 than they are in 6v6, especially if you dont open main gate.
 
rocketlaunches didnt work yesterday!
which was your own fault though cause you didnt book a server on your own but bugged a league admin to do it. And as the manual setup system is not adjusted to 2v2 yet, rocket launching was unfortunately disabled.
Dont blame us though, you can book the matches on your own to whatever time you like!
