Mod bashing is easy to do, ive had it and to an extent I have looked less at this forum and particularly left all but the most out of order post alone. thur does a good job and as frustrating as it is for lots of people he/she can stress a point in a factual way with evidence and until provoked, this provocation usually due to a belittling or "ripping apart" of the evidence the opposing poster has provided in one of the 10,000 word replies.

I myself like Dog and others have a tendency to swear infact it’s an affliction I have in real life, this is often remarked upon as "resorted to" I can assure you its not a resort it just a vocabulary I use and as I know dog it is an idiosyncrasy we share.

there are many many things to learn from the people that frequant these forums and the views they post, the on going capitalist/socialist argument is so full of self-righteous unwilling, blinkered values it makes me sick, the continuing barrage of im right your view is wrong on this subject here is such a sad reflection of its "being" using the word being because of its static nature, this argument is in a continuing state of STOP and will continue to be that way until a large enough proportion of a generation picks out the best of what is good about capitalism, socialism, environmentalism what drives a population forward as a whole and is good for the future development of a planet and an individual. instead of “ripping apart” people posts as wrong, why not compliment peoples post by adding your view to that of others and point out that you may not agree with what has been said you can at least digest there point of view and add your own without dismissing it.
On a personal note I have my own opinions that I have developed through experience, the ability to learn from other people mistakes as well as my own, reading and sharing my thoughts.
These opinions are not set in stone and as I have found out very recently are always open to change, as Deluze says we are not a humanbeing we are a humanbecoming everyday learning, gathering, and expanding.

Seems to me that the fact that the nasty capitalist pharmaceutical companies had to be forced to make cheaper generic products available to under-developed countries is a pretty sound argument against capitalism. Volunteering to do it would at least have involved a moral decision.

Thuringwail's opinions may be half-arsed (my opinion), but they are her opinions. We all can have them and should be heard. There is also no harm done in changing opinions if someone talks sense. 1. I did. I was trying to make a point. I was trying to get you to see things from my perspective so you might understand why I reply as I do sometimes.

3. I don't post proof for everything. Some people however post proof for nothing.
4. No, you're right. Its not. However, I was attempting to explain why I have the views I do, and why I was taking umbrage at certain comments. Maybe you didn't realise that?
5. Prior to posting, try to think about what your post contains. Try to think how people might react to what you have said. Don't be surprised when people don't want to agree with everything you say or think when you start out by insulting them.

Your first post in this thread was deliberatly and directly insulting, and you know it. If you want to argue semantics and points of sophistry about "tone" feel free.

Anyway, bottom line is: If you are nice to me, I will be nice to you. If you wish to be shown tolerance, the way to go about it is not by breaking all the forums rules.

I do understand what you are trying to say. And you're still missing my point. You can't expect to ignore all the rules yourself, generally be rude and insulting and behave as you please, and expect everyone else to simply accept that.

So, if rules are a problem for you, please don't post in P&S any more.
