Marriage: For life?

Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

I dont think marriage is religous, it is just two people showing that they want to be together for the rest of their lives, and that they will put them first in life.
But on the flip side I wont get married, but thats for personal trust issues rather than anything else.
I think because in the past women were more dependant there was less chance of them leaving a relationship they were unhappy with as they didnt have a choice, but now it has changed and as they are financially independant it can make both partners less inclined to stay together..
