This works fine for me. Difference is that i'm runing EUT_1G and calling MapVote from UCC command line as global mod like this:

Im running the mapVote from the Startup, (I use ASU, and its set in startup).. I have removed MapVote from thoes mutators, so its just the plugins, and it still doesnt seem to work, it still wont switch to Sniper Arena, -- I think ill get a hold of EUT_1G and give that a try.... see if that fixes it..

hi 1st off all great job on the mapvote :D

got it installed and working perfect :smoke:

one question : i added the maps in filter in sise order , but in the mapvote screen in the game they apear in alfabetic order

can this be de-activated so its in order that i set in (sorry out my english:rolleyes: )

Why would that really matter? When a person votes for a map, they pick it no matter how it's listed & it's easier to pick if it's in some kind of reasonable order anyways. :confused:

When you import the pcx file into the new texture in uED, you need to make a note of the name of the texture (as well as the package), and in the MapVote.ini, make a reference directly to the texture name:

i.e. if your texture in Manu.utx name is "MyCoolLogo":

LogoTexture=Manu.MyCoolLogo

Basically what was also said by masterjohnny, but if you wanted an animated .gif (not sure if that's what you got, but I'm presuming it is), well that won't work. But since the mapvote is usually up for about a minute anyways, a static pic usually does the trick just fine. If you need help doing it, let me know since I've done a few before. ;)

i make a new one, when i size it to 128x128 it works fine with Splash Menu but dont with Mapvote :(

When i resize to 120x110 it doesn't work. :shout:

i've had the same problem.... forever with changing from zp gib to sniper lol not sure how to make these cool little boxes for view info so be prepared for a long post lol

if you do a servertravel via webadmin your dynamically loaded mutators will get permanent. So first go to the mutators list and remove everything but the mapvote before you do any servertravel via webadmin!
 
ahh so what your saying is say after a fresh reboot of the server I should go in webadmin pull muts except mapvotela and restart map... then when maps are voted in game the gib and snipes should be able to change?
 
Ok I just started having this problem on our sniper server. When the server is restarted....none of the mutators load. Now, if I change the config lines in MapVoteLA, they load correctly. Then here's the WEIRD PART..... This is the config for the MapVote:

Now, if you were to copy these lines and match them up, THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME except for the NewPreFix=" " part. If I enable, 0, 1, 2, the mutators do not load at all...but if I enable 3, 4, 5 they do. I have copied 3, 4, 5 into 0, 1, 2 and 0, 1, 2 into 3, 4, 5 and it's the same situation; 0,1,2 do not load mutators; 3, 4, 5 do load mutators.

Why is it that I can copy the SAME LINES and they only work in the 3, 4, 5 section?

Since they do load in 3, 4, 5, it can't be anything with the ACTORS or server packages. It's 630am now and I've been at this since 530am....this has baffled me! This however, has been my first and ONLY problem with the mapvote (I think)....leave it to me to find the weird crap!

Well, I've sorted the problem. Seems that when I had the sDM-* in the map list under DM-*, it wouldn't work properly. So I removed the sDM-* and the Config lines for them and have the DM,TDM,4TDM all in 0,1,2 and it's working fine now. Guess it was just a fluke....being in the wee hours of the morning and whatnot!

gui scale

I did a search of this thread but found nothing on this so I hope this is not redundant. When I bring up the vote menu the scale is either so large that I can't see it all or so small that I can barely read it, depending on whether I select font size as normal or as double in UT preferences. This makes this unusable for our servers. I did not have this problem with BDB mapvote304. Any ideas what this could be, or how to fix?
