    thats a problem in the client-window-opening code, it's in the core BDB code and therefore happens to all BDB mapvotes and all it's variations I'm afraid. However I think I've spotted the problem and fixed it in MapVoteLA13 :D

    You have bReloadMapsOnRequestOnly set to True, which means it will load from a pre-loaded cache list of maps, however if you have this set to true from the first time LA13 is loaded, it won't have a list to load from. You need to log into the server as Admin, bring up the MapVote window manually and then go to the Admin tab. Click the reload maps button to populate your lists.

    Also, you have bDOM and bCTF set to true at the top, along with your DOM and CTF custom configs, which will result in LA13 listing the maps twice. You will need to fix this!

    Hey Cratos...

    I'm a programer by trade and a scripter for -={SDA}=- ... I was wondering if you could give me a bit more detail on what the problem was and also the fix for it. Mostly curiosity :)

    BTW...we had a different prevalent error earlier...a handlestream error was being thrown around 6 times a day. After some log-watching and guessing, I turned off the entry window in the mapvote and that error stopped occuring. Not sure if it was a mapvote problem or another mutator we had interacting with mapvote that was causing the problem. Just an FYI... Thanks for your hard work!!

    Awww crap!

    Both Server Crashes are still happening.

    I will just have to live with keeping the entrywindows popup off and live with the once a day 242 connections.

    But, everything else is VERY cool! Thanks alot!

    Seems to be an interference with some other mods then :/

    no single crash since the start 2 weeks ago on our public server

    "List1Filter[0]=DM*" should load all "DMsmthg" maps (including DM-liandri and all the maps u like)

    but more accuratly last line "List1Filter[2]=" might be ur problem, try removing it

    ehm...that's what the filters are for. You use it in the right way already. Just remove the "List1Filter[2]=" (last line of your ini) cause that blank filter will stop the filtering at that point, that why only the first two filters (List1Filter[0]=DM-ForgottenIsland and List1Filter[1]=DM-LaManchasnipe) are working ;)

    hi,
    from what i can see this is a great tool .. but im having problems configuring it
    heres what im up against im after jailbreak , deathmatch , ctf and fragball but the fragball and jailbreak are greyed out thankjs for any suggestions / help in advance

    rather than bFB=True & bJB=True entries at the top shouldnt you be configuring it via the custom game types. ie CustomGameConfig[1]=(bEnabled=True,GameClass="something here",NewPrefix="FB",Mutators="possibly here too",Settings="")

    you must excuse me .. have done server admin before, but i havent had to do this .. i have entered what you said in your last post but its still not working right i still have the fragball missing even though i have entered it in the exact way i did with the jailbreak. i know this is lame but could someone please edit the ini for me plz to accept jailbreak and fragball.. thanks in advance

    Yes, get rid of that bFB=True & bJB=True added in there & put in CustomGameConfig[#]=(bEnabled=True,GameClass="FragBall.FragGame",NewPrefix="FB",Mutators="...whatever you want added"
    [The # can be any that are free to use] That GameClass is found (as mentioned a few posts back) within the FragBall.int file & the same goes for Jailbreak within it's .int file.

    How do I configure this? I want MH to be the default gametype. Does MH fall under Deathmatchplus? Where in the .ini is this specified witch list will be default?

    BTW, This is the best mapvote ever! Exelent Work!!!!:D
