Settings=?

What would I put in the Settings= if I want to be able to have the mapvote alternate between settings for different gametypes? For example I need max score 10, friendly fire 0%, no tournament, game speed 155%, air control 55%, no balance teams, no force respawn, no weapons stay, no max teams, no translocator, bots=7. i can set it in webadmin, but those settings are no good for the other 3 gametypes i want to run on the same server/mapvote. so i can set it up for each gametype..

Was previously using MapVote 302, but liked the notion of being able to split the maps among several columns. Unfortunately, I did not save my old settings for 302, and have nothing to compare LA13 to. I have read all of the posts in this forum, but don't see anyone with exactly my problem. Hope someone here can help.

I wish to run ONLY large map/sniper type maps, with focus on sniper rifle activity. However, all the other weapons are in play. I also want to use Strangelove, where it naturally exists in the respective maps. Our maplist is approximately 59 maps, which I have roughly spread out among three columns.

Here's what's happening/ not happening:
1) Switching between Auto detect and forced DM either shows the default 16 maps, or hides them completely. They should not be showing at all.
2) Turning on Custom List does NOT show any maps.
3) The mods seem to be loading OK.

Just a follow up, in the event that it might help someone else.

I got no reply from anyone here.. :(

However, after hours and hours of testing, I see that my biggest issue was leaving the .unr extensions on the map names for the custom list. Once I removed those, all was well with the list displaying.

I have some more tweaking to do, including getting mutators installed.

hello I need some help please :)

I have map vote set up and it works fine except for when I use 2 mods that come with standard with UT (BotPack.FlakArena and RocketArena.RocketArenaGame) I loose my translocator in the game.. can someone tell me how to get these back? and yes I have use translocator checked in the server lol..

No HUD clock randomly

Firstly, let me say I LOVE this tool, works great except for one thing! Randomly there will be no UTPURE HUD clock (shows time remaining next to your health, used for timing).

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it, I have setup over 500 UT servers (not exaggerating) so I know what I'm doing, I've used basically the same setup for a lot of servers used in MLUT ( www.prounreal.com/mlut ) matches.

I have votes for CTF 1v1 and TDM with different player amounts, all has worked but about once a day I get a PM from somebody saying there is no hud clock, I have never had that problem until I started using MapVoteLA13, so now before match nights I switch to a different INI that has regular mapvote for matches.

I read this entire thread and 1 other person mentioned this but nobody commented on it.

To me it looks like youve got 5v5 iDM, 4v4 iTDM, 5v5 iCTF & 5v5 iDOM, not really sure how youre getting normal gametypes with your config tbh.

To set it up how you wanted

The mapvote uses custom prefixes for maps to determine what settings to use so you will need to add custom gamtypes for TDM\iTDM\CTF\iCTF\iDOM in each of your player amounts with new individual prefixes, eg

etc

then add that to your maplist filters
List2Filter[0]=iTDM2-* (this will give 2v2 iTDM)
List2Filter[1]=iDOM2-* (this will give 2v2 iDOM)
List3Filter[0]=iTDM3-* (this will give 3v3 TDM)
etc

Do the same for list 1 but youll need to add sniperDM as another custom gametype and add that to filter list too


I thought the only way you could play tutorial was by manually loading it?

i got a problem

i got 2 maps in the maps folder called CTF-Tutorial and CTF-TutoriaLX but those doesnt appears in mapvote maplist...

why? o_O
 
Hi im new here and i run a server i have this awesome mutator and
i cant give enought thanks to cratos for making it.
So heres the question, how can i add MonsterHunt (or other gametypes) to the mapvote.
 
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to allow a lot more mutator options being allowed without it flooding the windows. Like if I had 6-8 different customconfigs and used them all with the CTF maps, Let's say theres like 60 maps or so, then I get 400 choices because of the maps being duplicated for each of the customconfigs.

So I was wondering what if I just used the first column as a place to switch mutators like let's say I have 1v1zpDM-Morbias and then when I vote 1v1 weaponsMorbias, it switches to the weapon mutators with all the settings that come along with it.. And then if I want to change the map, I use the other columns. They could just have a gametype set like deathmatch or ctf, but no mutators or settings with them, since I just want to switch the map.

So basically I vote on the first column to switch mutators, and the other columns just to switch the maps. Is that at all possible? Seems like it should be if you're just doing a simple map switch. But doesn't seem like it works from what I tried so far :\ Seems like if you put nothing for mutators, it'll just set mutators to none and remove them all. Might keep the settings the same though, not sure.
