maybe there could be a discussion about the pro's and cons of the maps

most people played Desertstorm (=> class map), and some Saqqara
but the other maps a bit unknown (in online play)

imo desertstorm is a nice map but so is saqqara.

i prefer saqqara myself tho as desertstorm demands a lot of fps for my pc.

saqqara hasnt been pld as much as desertstorm tho (or am i wrong? )
 
saqqara has been removed from the Jolt publics while Desertstorm stayed on :(
probably because no non-league player had the map installed :/

Desertstorm :

has been played alot on publics
great looking map
good gameplay

it can be completed average fast or slow, but with some coordination it can be defended for some time




Colossus :

no online play
nice looking map
i think it would make a good leaguemap


Saqqara :
------------

not much online play, but not a difficult map to learn
nice looking map
takes coordination to put up a good defence


Submarinebase][ :

no online play
nice looking map
i get lost in there



btw who plays GuardiaAL and OceanfloorAL ????
replace them with Desertstorm and Colossus !!

GuardiaAL was in a match tonight. And as they are similar to the originals they are only alternative choices.
i.e. Keep Guardia+GuardiaAL, Remove GuardiaAL, or Replace Guardia+GuardiaAL with xxxxx

and to get back on topic i prefer Autorip cause its the only one i've played properly :P
 
I reall y hope there is another map vote with maps like ColderSteel, Rocket Command, Manticore or something , id never heard of SubmarineBase][ or Collosus till a week ago LOL;)
 
i need some more open spaces in levels to show my acts ;)
guardia is just crap and will only be chosen by div4,5 clans.
It's just annoying and you can predict it will be tie, so why would you choose it? :confused:

Saqqara is nice and big :D and i think it will not be spammed
Desertstorm owns coz of the sniper at the end. It's good for training multikills :P
 
me still wants GuardiaEq.....

nywayz, Autorip is good lookin:), not hard(lol@ the 1s who get lost:lol:) i've done a demo of it too....it's on www.neorox.co.uk under level specific.....

Desertstorm deffinatly get's my vote:)

Collosus get's my vote too, but the textures on it.....
if sum1 just could do an AL version of it.....:)

Saqqara, doesn't get my vote. 1st time i pld it i cudn't find the doors, lol...... the map has great textures and teamplay, but i don't like egyptian-styled maps, as much as the others.(like desertstorm, ballistic, guardiaeq, golgyal...etc.)

get GuardiaEq in the league fs!:)
it's less spammable than deafult 1:)
 
It was gonna be the winning map goes in and the second place map goes through the vote to see if anyone wants to replace any of the current maps with it, but that would have required another poll to decide an absolute winner then yet another poll, but there isn't much time left this month + we don't have a lot of time atm either.

the only map which schould leave is astennophere that map suxx more as all other ....

i really hate it
 
For them to replace other maps would have required a vote, which we just didn't have time for atm.

Maybe next month instead of a new map vote will vote for 2 maps to kick out, but we'll see when the time comes.
