would explain why you die there but dont explain the rockets/shots going missing when they enter 'the void space' though least pppl know its there now and can avoid it like i say it dont really effect gameplay at all.

It has height enough to stand still there, and it only kills you on certain zones. It kills proyectiles only, instant shots are not stopped.
UnrealED doesn't show anything dodgy there, so... no idea
Anyway, as you said it won't really affect gameplay at all.
