no I completely "get" it......... I just think that way of thinking is backward and does nothing for the problem at hand. You sit back and say it is societies fault, and there were great abuses done to these people.......Should adults be treated as the Juvies??? Maybe their crimes are not their fault maybe the mass murders got spanked when they were kids or even better yelled at when they were children. LOL it never ceases to amaze me how people like to pass the blame and not face up to things they have done.....it is always someone elses fault.

First off, maybe you need to take a good look at how your prison and "justice" system works before you go dismissing "the european way". You have by far the highest % of incarcerated ppl in the "western world" that I'm aware off, some of the highest crimerates, the percentage of repeat offenders is way higher than any other country. Take that and add the fact your society have one of, if not The, highest gaps between Have's and Have Not's... and you're telling me you're doing fine? that no adjustment is needed? that the millions of handguns on the streets do not kill people? that your country's policy of stressing drug addicts rather than trying to cure them actually works? Come down of the high horse ffs and try to admit you've got a serious problem, and "hardlining" juveniles is definetly NOT gonna help, wtf you think you've been doing for years and years?
You'd think intelligent people would be willing to accept these simple facts, and not take them as a personal insult or something, but rest assured that I'm right when I claim that most europeans have a far greater insight into the american system, than you have ever bothered to gain about the european system(s)...
If BB claim he have great experience, and have actually helped kids in dire straits, why not just accept this, instead of attacking his qualifications? how much do YOU know about working with these kinds of kids?

apparently they were trying to crack down on it, which i didnt think would have done alot considering its such a tiny ""offense"". even had to do an interview type thing on a videocamera which was filed for if i was caught again
