Demo record thing + mIRC script

  • Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

Unzip to any directory/folder that doesn't contains spaces. (ie. c:\program files or my documents) then click the essence.exe

press shift+f8 then right click on the window here site : www.clanessence.com/script.shtml

I just added it to my mirc script or just download the .txt files here although if u bind to another key you will have to do a lot of edits in the .txt files :/
Could easily be written as a stand alone thing in vbs, but I don't know vbs

oh yeah as soon as u click the exe u join #utassault and #gamingriot
#utassault isn't registered, but if some1 wants to do it and add a few more ppl to the op list it would be cool.

#gamingriot is a channel where they broadcast mainly ctf matches, the broadcasters are funny hicks or yanks, you really gotta listen to Dj Nem report a match, just join the channel, open up winamp press ctrl-L and paste the ip in there.

This is something i looked forward to much :) But it doesnt work for me :(

Ive run the program without sucess. It creates the right *.txt files and adds this ( made 2 different after each other ) to my user.ini:

å=exec Public10.txt
¨¨=stopdemo
.=exec Public10.txt
-=stopdemo

But when i press buttons nothing happens.

Also, one thing that would be nice is for it to be possible to rewrite the route to the ut directory so demorecs can be fixed for those with more then 1 ut install..

as well u write: "Unzip to any directory/folder that contains spaces." U mean that or the other way around? i cant get it to work at all when i have dir with spaces but since the other doesnt *work* either maybe its becasue fo this?

Also that mirc server doesnt seem to like me:

big boo boo on my part should be to a dir without spaces :/
if u insteall to one with spaces it will mess up all sorts of stuff, just close it down and rename the dir.

As for the server not likly u, I'll try asking the admins but either u got a trojan on ur system now and need to scan it or some1 from the same ip as u once had a trojan.

ain't a joke, any good server scans for wingates and sub7 trojans because some1 else could use these to take control of your computer and make u take over a channel, etc. So they won't let u on with an infected computer.

Clean ur system out using whatever virus software u have and if u haven't got a firewall, get one like zonealarm i think is the best free one

Well i dont know about this kind of stuff, but im behind firewall and has same ip as about 20 000 students..

Im dl:ing the proggie now to test.

BTW, Ace, first install of essence i did was right ( without spaces ) but still it only *worked* as i described above... :/

Does it have anything to do with the ut patch? I run 432 on the one ive created files for and i couldnt try it on my secound ut ( 436 ) since i couldnt change dir u know....

this was a schoolwork sent from a friend, is this serious and what does it mean, i guess i should contact him....

And also, can this have sometihng to do with programmes "hanging" / crashing a lot lately? IE crashes once every 5 minutes....

Damn, i guess i *should* install a virus proggie, whats best?

that proggy i reckon is the best for finding viruses etc...

the file you say that was infected from your m8....he prolly doesnt know he has it either so would be good to tell him


if there is someone u know who is good @ that sort of thing maybe ask him to have a look @ your PC...

asså det e ett bugg i windows kör skandisk så fattar den (inte fullständig kör den snabba) hade samma problem trode jag hade 800 meg man hade igentligen 1 meg :/ . lol i'm waiting for your smart ass comments aceperger ;)

30/30 I don't speak Swedish or whatever languague that is but if he is short on HDD space and knows his EZboard and other webpasswords clear out temporary internet files, that should save a few megs.

as for the 2 UTs installed there isn't a reason for that really, more on that later. anyway type /unset %snc.utpath
then try the prog again and it wil ask u to locate UT or let it find it.
