Way to go, atleast someones holding the candle of sanity.

For those who r thinking huh? right now, i can say that Canada just has aproved the use of cannabis as medcin(erm typo).

:)

Id give the rest of the sane parts of the world 10 years tops and it will be legal or decriminalized everywhere.

Fat chance - I don't think we'll see the decriminalisation of canabis in the UK in my lifetime - people want reasons why they should legalise, not reasons why they shouldn't - which makes it very difficult. Making it available for medicinal use would be the first logical step - but after that applying huge percentages of tax to officialy sold weed would be an obvious move, and then the media will blow stories out of proportion when more accidents/problems arise from an increase in the population using the stuff.

I'm all for it, however I can't see it being a good thing™ because too many dickheads will give it a bad name in the long run.

/me crosses his fingers

First of all i said sane parts of the world:P:D

But..

U mix ur terms m8, legalization and decriminalization r two dif. things.

THe facts concerning cannabis speak for them selves, also u dont haveto tell ppl anything, just decrim. then just stop busting ppl for possetion and use.

If the gov. wants to tax it or reduce the ilegal trade significantly they will haveto legalize.

Heck around here we have people convicted of drunk driving 10+ times and they still have a license to drive. Alcohol is somehow still legal. But when legalizing pot comes up it's a big deal. I don't understand how misuse of alcohol is no problem but smoking pot is? And even use of weed for medical reasons seems to be a big issue. I don't get the US sometimes :( And I live here :freak:

Yeah, I mix my terms because the sale of canabis will require legalisation over here in the UK, just turning a blind eye to the possesion of canabis would be decriminalisation. The problem is that the quality needs to improve, and I dont see that happening through decriminalisation alone. This is a good and a bad thing though, because I don't want major corporations (prolly BT knowing them) jumping on the bandwagon and controlling something to be a) more profitable b) become taxed to the hilt and back. This is why I have mixed views.

I dont want them to legalize it, becasue then we'll probably get some crap stanky weed that the government grows. Id much rather go to my friends who I know care for there plants and treat it like babies. Then I know I get the crystalized, sticky, stinky good stuff. :bandit:

I still dont want the governments hands in it. Then we would to deal with the crap that smokers did. Oh because of rising costs of health care becuase of cancer causing agents in your marijuanna we have decided to increase the marijuanna tax. Keep your hands off my dope Goverment. And I can buy it from my next door neighbor and dont need to drive downt he street to seven eleven to buy my marij00wanna lights...

Sure id like that grave, but i doubt Eq would join us.

As for the gov. hands on pot parts..Well look at holland, nuff said? i think so, they have the best weed in the world u know.

Its still heavily taxed though - but I do agree that they have some great weed. It doesn't seem to have been comercialised, and I am not sure if it legally can be due to growing/possesion restrictions?

(im in the land of the unknown now)

Gen you dumbfuck. As usual only you are right and what anybody else might think is wrong. I am not going to be baited by your question. We have already had one topic removed... I am not going to cause another to be removed.
