While searching for some good demos for a future project I found a few 'not so good' demos from a few public games/ duels / a few cws etc. Decided to mess around with Vegas/Adobe Premiere since I haven't in a while, but got fed up after a bit, the result is a 420mb 4minute video with good quality and rushed editing, still I might say it will be a good watch for some.

Sorry about the huge file size, xvid doesn't like me one bit.

Apperantly DB decided that my taste in music was utter shit and made his own version of the video, with the sound track: pitchshifter genius
DB's version is alot smaller in size but without 720p, also he was nice enough to put it up for dl on his ftp, edited in 1st post.

Nice little video, of course you notice the lack of time in these productions
but I know as many, the incredible time it takes to make these movies so nice to
even produce anything.

The custom font and sniper crosshair did look nice but you should have used real ingame sound
to make the credibility better when you make dominating etc because when you use clearhud and
add on messages yourself you can add what mess you want and extra sound.. not that you dont just
a point of view :sofa:

Aye I know what you mean, unfortunately I don't record with fraps, but rather movieunreal, so the only way to add the sound that I can think of is to record each clip with both fraps and mu, use only the sound from the fraps recording and sync them both.

Recording sounds in a separate way with something like audicity would be a mistake imho since fraps would provide visual aid, so it'll be much faster to sync.

Still it would be more trouble than it's worth since like I said, this was just a test of me messing around with some frags I found randomly, will take that in count for my future projects through :)
 
You dont need to use fraps at all, do like me:
Record video with MU
Audio with windows audio inbuild recorder
Sync them in Video editor program and lock them together as one clip
Finish movie as usual

My final and last UT movie is soon done, so you can watch result :satan:
 
:hm: let's discuss it further via pm, if it's that simple and the sound won't get messed up due to the shrinking then it's a pretty kick ass idea.

Ah, can't wait for your video then, sounds very promissing :D.
