Ok as of february 5th this year all pubs/clubs/bars will be allowed to apply for 24 hour drinking licences, as a pose to the current standard licences where most pubs shut at 11pm and then a majority of bars and clubs shut at 2am. There is a lot of dispute on this cus of the "binge drinking" culture this country now seems to have and the reputation the UK has for alcoholism compared to europe. Critics say alcohol related violence will increase and its not a good idea cus of health costs, and only more fighting will break out etc... but whats all ur opinions on the situation...
Personally i dont see why people should have to go to work at 8 am and still worry about drunken thugs stumbling out of a nite club in the morning at 8 am... alchohol related violence is seriously bad here especially my town. I wanna know peoples opinion on the :
Relaxation of the opening hours, whether its a good idea, and whether its gonna cut down on crime or not cus imo... its gonna seriously go sky high if places are open till like 6am! cus people cant control there drink... this post is mainly aimed at UK peeps btw cus it affects u
