Legalise Cannabis and other drugs?

No they arent, but alcohol is worse in every way, physcially and socially than cannabis.

You take caffiene to stop you being cranky, then you are as much of a druggy as someone who smokes hash to relax them (ie me!). The only difference is you're drug is legal, and incidently caffiene is just as bad for you as cannabis too, too much caffeine can screw you're heart up like nothing else :\

So, why not legalise cannabis then mate? :) I'm all for keeping Class A drugs illegal, just not cannabis as it is less harmfull than a lot of legal drugs unlike the others.
 
By the time the drugs get to you, only God know's what's in them, you could have everything from poison to monkey crap.

General Question:

Is it Cannabis that starts off white, but when it gets onto the street its actually brown?

Cannabis is a plant, its not processed in any way (or at least the weed form isnt) It's purely just grown, dried and smoked. There is no extra stuff put in it at all (unless you buy a bag of mixed herbs off some bastard :D ) There is a form of cannabis called resin which is much easier to mix with other stuff, but personally I only smoke the weed form.

A drug is a drug no matter which way you look at it ..

What pisses me off is the narrow minded b&^%rds that think that smoking cannabis leads to other things "BULLSHIT" . So drinking your first pint is gonna lead to drinking 10 bottles of JD's in a few years ? .
Alcahol is the Goverments drug so is tobacco , why aint they illegal, coz they make too much money off it and you get the 80 year old twats in the commons / house of lords who still live in the past .. WAKE UP FFS! .


Im not saying push it onto ppl ..but for recreational use cannabis is probable safer than alcahol .

Class A drugs should stay illegal as most are highly addictive (so is alcahol and tobacco) .

i'l think of some more later when i have had a smoke :p

Not the drug itself Chipz-but as I believe Mogs stated earlier in this thread, it does by association.
Only the odd few weed dealers I know that dont deal in anything else. Majority sell wraps and pills 2:/

Agree to a certain extend, as I ahev said in others threads each individual has the right to do whatever they want, however you have to look at the big picture too.

Imagine a society where heroin is legal. Imagine a whole generation of kids that have grown up on smack, the coutry would fall apart within minutes. I agree with class A drugs being illegal because beneath it all we all still have a part to play in the running of our country. Taking drugs for recreational purposes is fine, np, but when the drugs you take begin to destroy your capability to function as a normal human being then its gone too far.

'Too much work and not enough play' is bad for the individual, but 'too much play and not enough work' is bad for the community as a whole.
 
Ok Spirit-but it is still acceptable for me to go out and consume vast amounts of alcohol and be fkd for a week.

But Alcohol is acceptable, yet it claims more lives each year than ALL the class a's put together.
 
I never said alcohol was acceptable - if it was discovered now it would probably be made a class A :)

No it wouldnt be acceptable for you to go out and spend a week drunk, cos then you'd be living off my tax money which i wouldn't be too chuffed about :\ :p:

I would class a woman who drunk a lot whilst pregnant and her child died as a direct result of this as a child killer too. I resent the drunks in the town centre living off my tax money just as much as anyone else.

Alcohol is ok in moderation, as are some other drugs. Heroin however is not, herion is not a recreational drug, it consumes you as soon as you start taking it.

And there is a reason for this: Alcohol is very cheap and legally available almost everywhere. If all drugs were, you'd have just as many pot, speed, wizz, E, coke, crack and smack fatalities as alcohol.

Something which few people stop to actually think about.

If I choose to get blind drunk and pass out for a week, I shall do it on my own income! and at no expense to the taxpayer!

My own personal view is that you are wasting your life if you spend it monged on weed. But that is your choice.
As long as you do not affect me with your vice I aint bothered.

If weed was made legal then the goverment would have an extra source of tax income, now this tax income wouldnt have so much taken out of it too cure the said weed smokers cos 95% of all weed smokers smoke fags so any income of weed would be a big fat bonus and means they could probaly cut tax`s somewhere else say make vat 15% instead of 17.5%. Ok this probaly wouldnt happen as the goverment is greedy as fook but it is food for thought

I know ppl use herion as a recreational drug too, but my point was they shouldn't :(
 
Legalise softdrugs!

Put HIGH tax on it and good supervision!
People mostly die from softdrugs because it was BAD drugs or to much usage of soft drugs :puke:

Now the goverment is only losing money trying to stop the softdrugs make it legal and put tax on it and maybe you will even get a profit!
And with the profit just lock those junky's up and get them clean

Actually, and this is fact, no-one has ever died in recorded history as a direct result of using cannabis. There have been cancer related deaths from smoking tobacco with it, and people choking on their own vomit (but this can happen any time you are sick, food poisening, flu, etc).
