Word Page Numbering

Ok the so called m$ word experts in irc (CK, Uzi, Ase) didn't know.

How do I make the footer for pages 1-5 be:
i, ii, iii, iv, v

Then from 6 onwards:
Page 1, Page 2, Page 3...

I've managed to get
i, ii, iii, iv

1, 2, 3, 4....

But if i put Page infront of the numerics the roman numeral's also get Page infront of them

I'd just do 2 seperate documents

I had this problem too. Only way I found is to use seperate documents. The good news about this is really you should keep 'significant' lumps of stuff seperate anyway eg chapters etc. The downside comes only if u wanna send stuff to a pro printer. One thing I didn't try was editing two docs seperately and numbering them, then joining them after. I think it must be possible to do what you want. I can ask a Word brain on Monday at work if u need. Lemme know m8
