Yesterday i encountered that on a simple reboot (without touching system settings), a load program for my desktop didn't appear in my taskmanager. (Desktop doesn't appear at all, only the wallpaper) Does anyone know what the file for loading the regular desktop is called, and where it is located?

run explorer.exe (not iexplore), it's windows shell and that's what u ain't getting loaded.

Also check your win.ini (thinks it's there where windows calls its shell).

btw, ur processes list has some weird stuff in it, u should run some anti-virus and spyware removers in there.

i've tried with EXPLORER.EXE, doesn't work .. dont know what should be in my win.ini - the only thing in it seems to be some load progs for video codes

btw, i have antivirus, and i know these progs, so no worries.. :))
