yes exactly , all new games suck and are aimed at n00bs to make more money WOW being a prime example , biggest pile of shit ever with 0 skill just a massive waste of time , levels taking hours upon hours to achieve just to make kids or stupid adults spend there monthly £8.99 or whatever it is for a longer amount of time, and the game coming to a pointless end, at least if it had some sort of decent in depth storyline it maybe would be worth it. there are a few exceptions of course , call of duty series is probably the best actual modern online skillful fps game at the moment or if you like football fifa/pro evo are great online games IMO. Also Starcraft 2 if you like strategy as it is huge right now and you can actually win allot of money if you get insanely good at it.

Talking about it. Im just trying to get some Duke 3D port working. Its supposed to have all 3d models items weapons etc, dynamic lighting, particles etc etc

i now have windows 7 64 bit. if dragging the UT folder to C: and clicking the exe is hassle then yes it's hassle

Yeah, its just because we're old farts now. I think TF2 is a great game, with lots of gameplay value, and expansions coming out periodically, but i'm just not bothered to get into playing it hardcore again.

I'd rather play it hardcore/6v6 style than x/32 player servers full of noobs doing nothing.

Unexplained crashes and general protection faults - MyM can't see anything wrong in UT logs client/server side. Very strange :<

classics will never die btw i dont consider PT just a game its more like an interactive book to me
