I only got 1Mb 2 months ago thanks to BT's official policy of hating people who live in villages. And even that only fucking works half the fucking time. BT wankers. Fuckshitfuckshitbollocksgroanmumble.

ya that was the same for me moved house BT turned DSL on for my line then it only worked from 9am till 6pm

ADSL is still not available where i Live atm, our house (no neighboors by now) got lucky and is probably using some fibre opticx cable connection, distributed as DSL nevertheless by the Telekom. It has the same pricing/speed though. Pings are tough shit. (~100)

dunno, when I test my line it says 490k upload and I got about 53kb/sec yesterday for a while, but not long though.

k 10 Mbit sounds like it should be good, but apart from d/l pr0n and other illegal p2p, what good is it? Any legal uses? Can anyone come up with even one legit use for an always on 10 Mbit line?
No angel myself but I'm curious.
btw my crap line was due to a duff overhead cable which BT have now fixed. Seems to have cured the prob except for a 5 minute period of dropped connections every evening about 10pm. weird shit.

Why not have 10mbit? When I want to download something I want it to be as quick as possible. It's like saying, fuck the ferrari today, I'm gonna walk to work.
