Problem with fps - online

I've got a very big problem here

My fps is 600 (average) offline, and 90 online. Thats not bad, but if i come close to other people on the server, i get fps 16, and everything goes shocking!

I really dunno why this is :S

Specs: Athlon 1800+, ISDN connection, TI4200 128MB, 80 gb IBM Dextar, Epox Mobo

Pleeease help me

My res is 1024 x 864
32 bits colors

IF i play it openGL i dont hava ANY problems

I only play in OpenGL mode, because D3D suxor for me in UT

your fps are limited by your connection and netspeed

isdn would max around 100 maybe ? im not exactly sure but that and crappy drivers are probabaly it.

Not only Connection Speed limits your FPS, the Refresh Rate also does.. If u have set 85Hz for UT, then ur MAX FPS is 85 then (only if u use Vertical Sync ON)

Just a hint?
