As for the donations bit, disregarding the fact that most of the money comes from his fans, if you had any idea of how youtube ad revenue actually works you'd realize that whatever athene donated is only a fraction of what he actually has with 250M+ views on youtube last time I bothered to check, I reckon well over 300M now.

I don't get how pointing out things you could easily find out for yourself on reddit, sc2 forums, lol forums, etc as well as simply suggesting you make an athene thread instead of posting here is a sign I'm 'mad'.
wth? How did I imply such a thing? The lol community is the sole reason (people like athene included) why I've quit league of legends 3 times, the only thing that keeps me going back is the skill and friends I've developed after 3 or so years. I was diamond last season (you can ask axl/riv/pogo/etc) and I'm not that far off diamond this season with only 50 games, you're a sheep if you believe half the things you just said by mainly just watching is videos and never actually investigating what happens behind the scenes. As for the donations bit, disregarding the fact that most of the money comes from his fans, if you had any idea of how youtube ad revenue actually works you'd realize that whatever athene donated is only a fraction of what he actually has with 250M+ views on youtube last time I bothered to check, I reckon well over 300M now.
If the sole reason you fanboy over him is his generosity why not fanboy over Warren Buffett? Who donated over 40B $ (flippin' 99% of his money) to charity, why not fanboy over Bill Gates? Characters far less shady than some rich gamer who does what any decent person would do in his position.

im also a fanboy of blizzard, world of tanks, huskystarcraft, penny arcade, xkcd and zack hemsey and occasionnaly post stuff about them and I never get attacked for pasting stuff about that, if its not your cup of tea dont fucking watch it but if you reply attacking what I find funny/awesome i'll defend my point of view
