but check some of teh chit chat threads or u may have seen in some of the clan channels, ppl do spam like mad sometimes, just for fun likeI have seen in sixth chan a few times.

That's the nature of the chit chat forum, if you don't like it, don't read it, if martz had a problem with it, I'm sure he'd voice it. If ppl spam in a clan channel(that isn't ur own) wtf do you care? I mean, it takes a lot more than a few lines of floodin' to bring down most irc servers...

In short, I think services on the irc have improved immensely, and the whole point, to keep this community as tightly knit as it is, a valuable one. If you don't even use, why would you care anyway? fucking busybody

by started a new server u have split the community in 2.

U guys do a good job of the website, the forum, servers etc, but there was no reason to first use monsterkill, then go to utgames, then go back to monsterkill linked with worldassault.

Erm what u gonna change ? Add a few oper commands of ur own, play with the change other ppls nick commands ?
All irc is used for is to chat, why would it need to be flexible ?
They could fix the /join #200,0 bug or something, what else needs to be changed ?

a bit being the word here, you're speaking against better knowledge here I think, fs the marjority of lag you'll experience will have no correlation to a bit of spam, and the lag that it does cause will hardly be noticeable, so get off the soapbox pls!
