My lastest problem...

I am having a problem with finding Assault games on-line.

You load UT, click on 'find internet games' and then on the 'Assault' tab.

I do this but nothing happens, i press F5 but still nothing. It won't locate any servers.

It works for all the others just not Assault.

What can I do?

(I have probably been banned for being crap... lol)

Just remembered I installed an AS League Browser, could that have something to do with it....

No.. that shouldn't be the problem..
Maybe a firewall blocking port 27600 UDP? (if I remember correctly)..

Actually it could be LeagueASBrowser, sometimes the install screws up the ini settings

Open your UnrealTournament.ini file and find the [UBrowserAS] section. Make sure it looks like this:

[UBrowserAS]
ListFactories[0]=LeagueASBrowser.AS_Browser,GameType=Assault
ListFactories[1]=LeagueASBrowser.AS_Browser,GameType=LeagueAssault

If it doesn't, change it so it does

Or you could play Domination and have the whole server to your self!

This is what i did have:

ListFactories[0]=UBrowser.UBrowserSubsetFact,SupersetTag=UBrowserAll,GameType=Assault,bCompatibleServersOnly=True
ListFactories[1]=LeagueASBrowser.AS_Browser,GameType=LeagueAssault
ListFactories[0]=LeagueASBrowser.AS_Browser,GameType=Assault

But I changed it to how you said to do it, but still no joy.

Was that first line I took out important?

I am kinda desperate here. I am considering re-installing UT.

Ok, thanks all. I have sorted the problem.

I downloaded the League Browser from this site and it works fine. I can now get normal and league assault games.

Dunno why I didn't think of it before.
