I meant it should be

List1Filter[0]=BT-A*
List1Filter[1]=BT-B*
List1Filter[2]=BT-C*
List1Filter[3]=BT-D*
List1Filter[4]=BT-E*
etc

thats 5 filters for List1, that should be all you need to seperate the maps into different lists


Add you should really be using mapvote13, its fixes an issue that is helpful if you have a lot of maps on a server

That's right, each List (1-4) relates to each column & depending how many maps you got under every letter (starting with A, etc.) will depend how much you want to have for each column. So to get all 500 maps divided in those 4, you'll need around 125 or so maps (for example: say all those from CTF-BT-A* to CTF-BT-E* equals to 127 maps for List1 & each letter under it's own Filter, then the next List will continue at CTF-BT-F* & so on.) Same thing goes for those under BT-* (which I'm assuming has less than 100, then you can add in any other CTF-BT- maps or just leave it with those in it's own column). FYI, each column can hold up to 256 maps max. (won't be the case though with the newer mapvote13, that's unlimited). ;)

What I don't get is I don't even have mapvotela13 available as a mutator and yes i have the .u and .int of mapvotela13. All I have as mapvote option in mutators is bdbmapvote304, not sure if that's normal? If yes still only getting all maps in 1 window.

Maybe something that would also be hepful if someone that is a bunny tracks server running could post there
[Engine.GameEngine] and let me know what other files appart from the ones that I am already using. That would be very hepfull also. Thank you for your time.
 
The packages/actors running will depend on what BT mut you're using, eg on the BT server I setup I run

ServerPackages=Bunnytrack
ServerPackages=BTPlusPlusv095_C

and my mapvote customgame line is

If mapvote works/loads but isn't organising the maplists as you want then try setting bDebugMode=False to True in the mapvote ini. It'll then output to the standard server log file what it is trying to do so you can analyse whats going on better.

I have some more clarification on my CTF4 problem. This is the two things that go wrong,

1) If the config looks like this :

CustomGameConfig[6]=(bEnabled=True,GameClass="CTF4.CTF4Game",NewPrefix="mCTFM",Mutators="ZPPure7G.AccuGib",Settings="")

List4Filter[0]=mCTFM-*

Then, all the CTF maps I have show up (as mCTF), and when I vote the CTF map, in list 4, the CTF4 Mutator CORRECTLY loads, but with a CTF map.

2) If my config looks like this:

CustomGameConfig[6]=(bEnabled=True,GameClass="CTF4.CTF4Game",NewPrefix="CTFM",Mutators="ZPPure7G.AccuGib",Settings="")

List4Filter[0]=CTFM-*

The CTFM maps show up CORRECTLY, but when one is voted, the CTF4.u mutator does NOT load. When i vote a CTFM map, SmartCTF stays loaded (EUT).

please can anyone help i have just started a server and have put the LA13 map vote on but i dont know how to configure the ini for it too work with the monster hunt,, i would be very greatfull if anyone could help

Of course your mutators will change. But, I keep the Settings="MinPlayers=0" so that no bots show up.
 
i tryed the above post and when i go in the monster hunt game the map vote wont work but if i switch to any other standard game ie deathmatch it works.... here is a copy of my map vote ini can someone point me in the right direction thanx

#1 You don't even have MH listed as a gametype for MapvoteLA to handle.
#2 If you're not using the LMS or TDM gametypes as defaults, set them to false.
#3 I may be wrong, but having a * as a ListFilter isn't a good idea.
#4 Add in the Config Line that I posted above and just remove all the extra mutators that you don't have running on your server. Then ADD MH-* into I'm guessing ListFilter4. See Below....I've cut off the extra lines that aren't needed to avoid useless scrolling in the forums.

Some suggestions for the new version.

1) add option to store mapvote settings inside the main server ini so multiple servers can run from the same folder (like OpBan or ASC LS)
2) add option in mapvote interface to enable users to vote for maps to be removed (mainly for crappy or buggy maps)

P.S. I still can't find a solution for my double ZP loading problem with mapvoteLA13. ZP is also listed twice in the mutators section when doing a server query. I've tried ZP201, ZPPure & ZeroPingPlus. Currently using DynamicPackageLoader to load game specific mutators for each gametype.

Sometimes during a vote, sometimes a map is selected during a tie that isn't even one of the top ones.

It's kind of an annoying bug and hopefully it can be worked out fairly easily :)

There is no problem with ZP, you maybe just have
a) added the ZP actor to DynamicPackageLoader and Mapvote, so it got loaded twice
b) done a servertravel via webadmin without removing the ZP mutator, so it's got permanent loaded via URL and mapvote aswell

If 3 or more maps have the same score, it will only mention the first two maps are tie, but a random map will be choosen from all maps that have that same score

Are there console commands available for LAMapvote?

Would be great if mapconfigs could be enabled on the no of players in the server. I'm thinking of combining this with AutoSettingsv100. But then i need to sent commands.

AutoSettings can't do mutate commands. The only way to do this would be using the set property.

Hi! I have installed MapvoteLA13 on my Server and its great! Thank you very much for that utillity. There is one thing, I am bad about: i can only list 1024 maps there described in manual file. Ok, most of ut server haven't more maps and needn't. But I have about 7000 ut maps and won't sort maps out - on the one side because I it would need much time and on the other side I like to play unknown maps and not always the same. My question: could you release a version wich can handle about 5000 maps or more? I would be very glad if i could offer them all :)

Wow, you want 5,000+ maps to a maplist? How can anyone be able to pick one to play while looking for it, unless one has set the time limit to way more than a minute to find it! I highly doubt other players would like to be rushed or take their sweet time finding the map they want by looking through that many listed. Even 1,000 is plenty for different game types to pick from. :crazy:

As for relics, you'll need to add the mutators for each type into it, just like you would do to other mutators. ;)
