You may notice the banners of the top right corner of most pages on the forums. This is to promote Make Poverty History, an organisation which is supported by over 300 charties including the big names such as Oxfam, Unicef, Wateraid etc.
They key points are to Drop the debt incurred by Third World countries and to provide better aid to those in need. They are not looking for money or donations directly, although I am sure the supporting charties would not turn away any generous donations you might be able to make.
This is to raise awareness about the issue, and to bring pressure to goverments and politicians - to hopefully change things for the better. You too can help!
