Well, since the reputation system seems to have somewhat lost it's entertainment value amongst this community, I was thinking that uta needs some new status symbol for members to brag about . Although I have no personal experience with installing vb mods I have used all the mods I suggest here on at least one other forum so I know they work. As a personal IPB forum modaholic I belive that a few good mods really can liven up a community. So, here are my suggestions:

VBookie 1.04
UCash & UShop v0.95b (Gives people something to do with their vbookie winnings)
UCash/UShop Ribbons / Awareness (A great way for users to show their support for good causes)
UCash/UShop Gifts (Token of a users appreciation of another user)

These would be nice in combination, just a suggestion anyway, can't imagain the installation would be too bad or there would be much extra bandwidth usage etc. Any admin want to give me any idea as to wether any of these are feasable?

PS. A rather poorly skinned example of all these mods are available at http://www.bulldogbbs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9159 (Just chose the first board I found with them all installed, the thread is random but it shows the ribbons and gifts (Just above post count and UCash). You can also see VBbookie and UShop in action via the links at the top (may have to register). One very good example of how much fun VBookie is can be found on http://forum.rscnet.org/ of which I am a member of several years.

Doubt it would use much more bandwidth tbh, would open up some amusing gambling opertunities though, for example, how many David Hasselhoff posters does Bart own?

Looked at these things before.. they look ok!

The only issue I have is with updates, and the more hacks and mods we have, the longer it takes to update versions. This vB install is pretty much a vanilla installation.
