help?

Hello all i have a problem when i play ut on my lil brothers pc,
it always chrash or it reboots itself automatically during a game, i get a blue screen
it only happens in ut

This pc got a Radeon 9200 series card 128mb
512mb ram 200 gigharddisk 2,8 ghz

I use Direct3d settings i tryed to use opengl but al the graphics seen fucked when i use opengl

this is the std reply for threads like this

1) update direct x
2) update mobo drivers
3) update gfx drivers
4) run av / spyware check
5) rename ut and user.ini so ut makes fresh ones
6) update windows
7) check fans / heat sinks are clean ad working
8) if u done all of above and it still dont work your prolly fuked

ah the 9200 has a passive heat sink which is prolly over heating the card it needs a fan really when playing games

also try setting it to 4x instead of auto in the bios

play ut on your computer instead of his.

I had the same problem, my PC just restarts in mid of playing UT and I saw that i was getting to hot, now I have a new cooler and it´s working!

I think you have the same prob!
