Does anyone know where I can find a decent comparision chart for the performace of certain graphics cards?

I'd like to compare the Geforce4 MX440s and Geforce Ti 4200 / 4600 to the Radeon family - 8500, 9000 and 9700.

Does anyone know why the 9000 Pro 128mb is so much cheaper than all the others? Is it better than the 8500 64mb or not? Thanks :D

Radeon 9700 Pro - the uber card atm (and according to this link, Nvidia's new GF FX wont change that)

radeon 9000 - no idea

Radeon 8500 - its the 2nd worst of the once you listed there

GF4 ti4600 - the 2nd best card atm

GF4 ti 4200 - the best one in price/quality comparison , as its very cheap yet very good. there are also models out where you can overclock em like a dream so you can get em even faster too.

GF 4 MX - as good as a GF3 afaik... not worth the money really (and you might get a 4200 for slightly more money anyway)

Thanks for the info Moe :D confirms pretty much what I thought already, knew the 9700 was the uber card anyway :D

I'm running an 8500 atm and looking at upgrading to either a 9000 or ti 4200, but will possibly stretch to a 9700 if its not too much to upgrade :D

ti4200 does look good value for money but I am interested in comparing it to the 9000 - anyone got any good info on this card inparticular when compared tot he others? It just seems to cheap for what it is lolol

So how does it compare to the 8500? Is it much better?

I've heard the 8500 is actually more powerful but wasnt sure :D

Fuck it the 9700 looks so good I might just go for that :D

if youre going for a 4200 you might want to make sure its one that supports AGP x8 (I think the new models do that).

if youre going for a radeon 9700 you might want to make sure you get me one too :D *cough* you pay of course

MX440 < R9000 < R8500 < 4200 < 4600 < R9700

if yer oc'ing, both the GF4's will off you similar core high's (just get a good make). 4600 will get better memory however, simply because it has better memory put in.

i heard you talking about getting the R9700 anyway in chat, so blah. mr. moneybags
