Forum upgrade

  • Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

hm seems like the new spambot filter is less effective then the old one going from the rougthly 1 spambot every few hours in fraghub forums atm..

may i suggest to place a new subforum between fraghub news and general name ie : "spambots pls post here" or so, were users are allowed to start threads but will be auto banned if they do so :P
Since they seem to post in the first allowed forum from above it would been kinda ironical to see em post in "there forum" ;)
 
sounds good, but imo the problem aint banning those accounts (every moderator from any forum section can ban everyone, so the account banning is pretty fast and mostly they post just one post anyway), the problem is deleting their threads.
Only moderators for this forum or forum admins can delete threads there. Meaning that their links are still there, until a moderator or admin sees them. And that can take some hours.

Maybe some Autobanning + Auto threaddeleting forum would be cool (if that is possible).

ye thats what i thought :P

since theyll post in the first avail forum wed prolly could trick em with that... aint it possible to disallow linking in a forum? or make it moderated and just dont confirm there posts HRHR
