there's a 'tweak' that makes all players glow, actually it's considered a cheat but for you it should be allowed
tried to mess with brightness/contrast a bit?

increasing the gamma might help, as that intensifies the colors rather than just making everything brighter (which would be the result of increasing brightness). Increasing Gamma will make everything appear more visible to you - at least to me, anyway.
