if less money is spent on education (which in most contries is at least partly founded by governmental funds) the government need to spend less money on eduacation, hence government need to attract less money by taxation. A part of the total tax is payed by working ppl, its the part usually called income tax. Thus, if less money is spent on education I (and all working ppl) need to pay less income tax.
