OMG..what a great game!
The graphics are excellent.....extremely atmospheric.
Game play is good, weapon variety is good, riding in a "mech" gives a real sense of power.
Would have been nice if the world was more "destroyable".

out of curiosity how much do you give to the first f.e.a.r?

I would give it 9/10, the game was quite freaky at times because when I played it I was still at university and the phones in the student residences in every rooms were all the same and my phone was beside my monitor, and it was the exact same model used in the game when you find voice mail messages. At night I almost expected to turn around and see Alma .

I still have to play f.e.a.r 2 though I hope its as good as you say, the first one got my expectations pretty high.

yep fear 1 was awesome, though it was a bit too linear to me. Room, box, tunnel, elevator, repeat....

The game is as good as FEAR 1......better effects and better gfx.
It is unfortunate that it is so linear, but it's difficult for a story line game not to be.
The games A.I. is pretty good, the enemy hide and move location to keep out of your line of fire.
DON'T play the game on "normal" difficulty....take it up a level.
