'99 Assault Cya

Some of you know me by Sega but I'm sure most know me as Sonic. It's been at least 6 months now since I've played. One day I just uninstalled the game. I never thought that day would come but it's just gotten stale for me. Not as many people play anymore and my favorite game mod (Assault) is basically non-existent. This has been a good run, as I have been playing since early 2000. Not many games stand that test of time. During Covid I was diagnosed with Dysautonomia and small fiber neuropathy and was sort of forced given my symptoms to put the games away and really focus on my health.
Anyway, without getting sappy I just wanted to say goodbye and that I will and do miss you all even those I did not see eye to eye with. May you all take care and the best always. UT99 will always be in my soul and I'm glad I had a chance to be a part of it. -]|HaK|[- and |uK| 4 lyfe

Sorry to hear you have fallen on tough times, hope by focussing on your health all will be fine mate.

Regarding Assault though, it is far from non-existent. We are on discord, channel has over 300 people and we have daily pugs and competitions from time to time. I know you are finished with playing but feel free to join the channel even if just to socialise and speak to some players I am sure you have played with and against over the years!

holy shit sonic, sad to hear about your dysautonomia i hope its not too severe.

I wish you all the best and UT99 does live on well, I wouldn't have believed it possible in 2022 but i played a super intense 4-3 pug just a week ago and Che still updates/fixes maps.
