What are the best pop songs ever, in your opinion? Don't base it on chart placings or fame, but on what you consider makes a really good pop song - my criteria would be just an incredibly entertaining song from beginning to end, great to sing along to (and play on an instrument if possible), one you just want to stick on repeat for days.

although you can doubt whether some songs are really popsong or something different. But as long as it's been high in the hitparades you could consider it popmusic.

As Brain already mentioned: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody.
That was, is and always will be my personal number one. 3 totally different awesome melodies, such a great arrangement,... I can't think of a better song tbh.
