Join QNet #boteam, some of our frenchies (Mournblade, Kil-Jaiden, Lohengrin, etc) are mmorpg players... Mostly FFXI tho, but AO sometimes aswell.

And I havent played FFXII so i really cant compare... but I rather stick to free games

Anarchy Online was a great game but the engine is outdated. Game has a huge content and many different classes. Only with the free version you don't have Notum Wars or the Alien Atack Expansions.

Final Fantasy XI it is nice but it really requires you to be online for 3-4 hours to accomplish anything, with searching a party and actually getting some xp.

and also no Shadowlands.

But no worries AO was the best w/o SL and AI. These expansions made the level cap rise to 220 and also introduced the massive grinding that was way less before these expansions were introduced.

NW = was best expansion but after SL and AI noone does real tower wars anymore
