With the major uplift comes a bit of a re-theme, and re-coding our Auth Config to be a proper XenForo add-on.

Ye-olde forums back when people were proper ragey (vBulletin 2.x - circa 2001):
Oh - look! We've come full circle and gone back to greys
Super-dark-mode introduced (vBulletin 2.x circa 2002):
The move to vBulletin 3.x (circa 2003)
Another theme-tweak and juggle around (circa 2004-2005):
Simplified look, no more sponsors ;( (circa 2010)
This was the last vBulletin 3.8.x before we were being forced to upgrade at serious cost to vBulletin 4.x.
The major 2015 uplift to XenForo 1.x:
Far more modern / feature-rich forum software... Rather than giving our money to those peddlers at vBulletin we opted for a XenForo migration.
And finally the latest 2023 uplift to XenForo 2.x:
