2 songs -> remove singer please.

My gf's dad is giving a party this sunday, now my gf's family want to sing a song on tune on 2 AFC Ajax officiall clubsong. She asked me to find the tune of the 2 songs, but w/o anyone singing on it.
But the thing is; I can't find any song w/o a singer on it :(
Can anyone help me removing the singer from the sing (if it's even possible), so i only have the tune remaining.

Download the songs, convert them to .wavs in Cool Edit Pro (assuming you have it), and edit out the voice track in Multitrack View. That's the best suggestion I can come up with but you will need the program.

i assume Multitrack view comes with Cool Edit Pro? since i can't find any downloads for it :p:
(i'm d/ling Cool Edit Pro atm so i can't see what comes in/with it ;) )
 
I don't see that working oh and multitrack comes as part of cool edit/audition

If you put a .wav file in.. it is only one track - it does not contain the seperate channels used to mix that track.

The only way to do that is the have the original tracks used to mix the song.

Only suggestion I have is looking for karaoke versions?

true uzi, i tried it with a Winamp Plugin also, it'll only fuck up the background music more :P
i've been looking for the karoake version / non-vocal... no luck, so i gave up :(
