3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 2046 MB RAM I have my video card hooked up to my LCD TV for permanent use, no other monitors are connected. I could play WoW just fine with no hiccups like on UT.

I have almost nothing in the background, so i assume that's not the issue.

I just tried UT after messing with some settings, it worked fine for 5 minutes then acted up again, could this be a heat issue in my PC?

I've tried the mentioned solutions, still it's real choppy. It will drop framerates for just a quick moment every couple seconds. It's like pulsating lag. Kinda hard to describe but it makes it really hard to play. It's like i'm losing frames somewhere, like 20 frames or so will just never show...
