About the politics in this thread, let me share abit of my own experience with forums and politics.

Norway also has one of the strongest welfare states in the world and bucket loads of benifits and cash.

About the war. Don't forget that swedes went on their own free will to help finland in this war because they didn't want to have russia (USSR) where finland is today. If finland was lost they knew that sweden soon would be too so they had no choice really. Also Swedish goverment were "neutral" on paper but let germans use our railways to invade norway in ww2... very brotherly of us gg. Saved us a lot of money and historic buildings but nothing to be proud of exactly.

As you said, Sweden were neutral. Also they had no choice but to let Germany pass through or get invaded.
However, helping the finnish side against the russians was a matter of free will. The "only" thing Sweden actually did was sending weapons etc... the rest was totally up to the people to decide. There was a small group of ppl stationed up north that made sure russia didn´t cross the border to Sweden. Otherwise than that they sent no troops at all.
