Fae Fife.
win Xp Pro and videologic sonic fury.
soundcard worked np under win 98 and win Me.
had trouble getting the system to even see the card but now it does.
cant open the soundcard control panel, reports an error every time.
transcription of error available if it helps.
btw i get no sounds at all apart from windows error sounds.

RE:

i have one myself uve prolly installed it wrong

totally remove the card by this i mean delete/uninstall from device manager, make sure u have the latest drivers,

restart widnows dont let it install the card as they are not the right drivers for the card install it manually

OK, that is as may be.
But...
Heres what happens...
I go to control panel-add/remove programs-sonic fury-remove
and it removes part of the drive set, not all, i'm left with around 3.5 megs left.
I go to load new driver set, Sonicfury_WDM_4142.exe
and get the message 'do you want to remove sonicfury and all of its components?'
I cant get rid of it entirely and i cant install it at all.
I know im not the brightest toy in the box, but i'd have thought a simple remove/install would have been easy for me.
I've had the card physically removed and put back in.
:(

Aye ok, after my third format in two days...
its all in and working fine,
looks like a mix of (cough) operator error,
and a bad windoze installation.
Thx for your most kind responces :D
