Aye, couldn't agree more - without man the world would live in harmony. Instead we are destroying most species, foliage and the atmosphere at an alarming rate. Humans are on a par with cancer.

Now, try to mentally fast forward yourself to the age when you start drawing a state pension. My bet is, you'll be grateful for all those young bodies entering the workplace and getting taxed to support you in your old age. Just a thought... :)

And if you care to examine any demographic data available, you will see that most of the "advanced/developed/industrialised/western/etc etc" Nations actually have a negative rate of population growth...
