....I've got another puzzle for you !


I would like to be able to email myself a URL and for my PC to download the file in the URL.

When @ work I want my home PC to download stuff and I want to be able to tell it what to download from where ever I am.

Oh you know what I mean !

I use Outlook, maybe there is an inbow VBA script I can use ?

if u want to use p2p, use emule, it have its own webserver where u can control it what to do, e.g. start download, pause download, search the network, etc..

Thats the idea.......to have Outlook checking every 10 mins and reacting when a message from a particular address with a particular subject arrives. It will then action the URLs in said message.

As for leaving Outlook running all day being stupid: I understand ur point, but the alternative would be to turn everything off all day so I did everything when I got home from work. No point in paying for 24/7 access if I am only gonna use it in the evenings. I use appropriate protection where possible.
