Got a bit of a problem :mad:. On my home PC i cant access www.utassault.net. All other sites load up OK . It tells me UTA `cannot be found on this server'. Is it a `Windows Explorer' problem? I ask this cos its a new PC (therefore new Explorer) on my existing ADSL and it worked fine on my old 1. Could it be a `.net' problem, maybe? This is really making me :anoyed:

Cheers

Hrmm, sounds weird - usually when you get "Cannot find server" messages it is something to do with the server being down (which it isn't) or a DNS problem.

Not quite sure what to say really, clear your cache (hostory and temp internet files) out and close all I.E. windows - open it up and try again.

let us know:

Are you connected to ADSL directly or is it shared (router, Win Internet connection sharing, proxy etc?)
Windows o/s version
I.E. version

Might be able to help more :)

I've been told my ADSL is connected `directly'. My O/S is Win ME. Its a brand new PC so i'm assuming its IE 5.5 (i'm not at home to check).

Heres the whole spec, if it helps:- 1.333 AMD Athlon, 128 DDRAM, nVidia GF2 Ultra, Sound Blaster live 1024, OS Win ME, USB ADSL modem.

I havnt tried the `ping' test Finst. Guy at work just told me about that so i'll give that a shot when i get home.

If this is what you get...

...it's a problem with the "default page" setup regarding the php extension on the server.

Try using the full URL to the index page:

Dyz had the same problem btw, I'll ask Phear to look into it
