Well- yes its me the computer retard back again.
Ive tryed uploading one of those little pics that people have below their names- it doesnt say anything like "failed to upload" or nought. but wen i go to post a messege ther is nothing ther?
Got any ideas anyone?

Make sure its not above the filesize limit and not more than 60x60...

..if you got that right then it could be blocked due to disk space restraints that are currently causing a bit of a problem.
